Dr. Sebastian Garrido will join expedition 503 of the International Ocean Discovery Program as a Science Communicator! This expedition will drill into the Japan Trench to investigate the history of great earthquakes. Sebastian’s outreach project ‘A Date with a Turbidite’ will invite the public to explore how sediments record past tectonic events.
